Gardening with Jake

The Girard Pubic Library will be hosting a program for the public May 11th at 6 p.m.

Jacob Weber, the Crawford County Extension Horticulture Agent will be speaking about gardening of all types and will provide a time of questions and answers. Everyone is invited and there will be a prize drawing for those who attend.

This program is being held in conjunction with the Adult Summer Reading theme of "Water You Mind Read" which will run from June 7 to July 30. There will be prizes given throughout the summer for those participating. More information to follow, but plan to sign up in May.

Noxious Weeds Program

The public is invited to the library tonight for a program presented by Ed Fields, Weed Director of the Crawford County Noxious Weed Department. There will be a film presentation followed by a question and answer time. A prize drawing will be held for those in attendance.
